Mars Hill Baptist Church is the oldest African American Church in Paulding County, Georgia.  The church was originally started as a Sunday School by Issac Gresham in May of 1886 in an old log cabin. One year later this fellowship of believers who heard the call of God and organized Mars Hill Baptist Church in May of 1867.  Since her inception the church has been a constant beacon of hope for generations and generations of believers.
